PodSpot is an iPhone app that picks up the Bluetooth signal from your AirPods, Beats or other headphones and shows it getting stronger as you walk toward them.

How PodSpot works
Open PodSpot and tap to scan. You'll see the Bluetooth devices around you, each labeled Near or Far. Tap your earbuds to open the signal screen, then walk around. The percentage rises as you get closer, so you can tell which room they are in and then which corner.

- Find lost AirPodsAirPods, AirPods Pro and AirPods Max: check Find My, then follow the signal.
- Find lost BeatsBeats headphones and earbuds, including the ones that don't show up in Find My.
- Find lost Bluetooth headphonesGalaxy Buds, Pixel Buds, Sony, Bose and other Bluetooth earbuds.
What it can and can't do
PodSpot reads the Bluetooth signal your headphones send. It doesn't use Apple's Find My network, so it works for other brands too, and it is at its best for the last stretch, when you are close but can't see them.
Your headphones need to be switched on, have some battery and be within Bluetooth range. AirPods need to be out of their case, and PodSpot can't find a charging case on its own. It can also remember where it last saw a device and show that spot on a map.

Which headphones does PodSpot work with?
Any Bluetooth device that is switched on and nearby shows up in the scan, including AirPods, Beats, Galaxy Buds, Pixel Buds, Sony and Bose headphones.
Can PodSpot find headphones with a dead battery?
No. A device with no battery sends no Bluetooth signal. Apple's Find My, or your headphone brand's own app, may still show where they were last seen.
Is PodSpot free?
PodSpot is free to download from the App Store, with in-app purchases. It runs on iPhone with iOS 15.5 or later.
